Highest Quality Respiratory Analysis

Highest-quality algorithms for the detection of respiratory and oxygen de-saturation events followed by manual expert review are the crucial foundation of central scoring for sleep-related breathing disorders.

In a set of 15 subjects and 7 manual scorer, apnea-hypnea-index (AHI) obtained by computer-assisted scoring with TSG Somnolyzer 24/7 shows zero severity-classification errors when compared to ground truth. Manual scorer on the other hand miss-classify in up to 1/3 of the cases. Even experienced central scorers are subject to this error variability without software support.
